Starting engine…
This is not a video — the motioner engine is rendering this scene in your tab right now.
Animate

Presets to start. Curves to finish.

Drop in an entrance, then make it yours — every animation stays editable down to the easing curve.

  • 50+ in & out presets
Fade, slide, grow, spin, settle, blur, mask reveals, morph, counters.
  • Text animation per character, word, or line
Stagger the timing, then shape how it spreads with its own curve.
  • 21 easing presets — or draw your own
Intensity-tunable presets, custom cubic-bezier, and path easing.
Design

A real canvas, not a property panel.

Draw and style directly on the artboard — the same surface your animation plays on.

  • Shapes that stay editable
Rectangles, ellipses, polygons, stars — with per-corner rounding.
  • A pen tool that smooths for you
Auto-smoothed splines through your anchors, compound paths, trims.
  • Gradients with on-canvas handles
Linear and radial, animatable stops, dragged right on the artboard.
  • Type that goes deep
Google Fonts, per-character styling, masks, 16 blend modes.

Camera & paths

Move the camera, not just the layers.

Frame your scene shot by shot — the camera pans and zooms between them while every layer carries its own motion.

  • Camera shots
Linear, auto-smoothed, or hand-tuned bezier paths between frames.
  • Depth parallax
Give layers depth and the camera move sells the dimensionality.
  • Motion paths & morph
Send layers along bezier paths; morph one shape into another.
Export

Export without uploading anything.

Rendering happens in the tab with WebCodecs — no queue, no upload, no render server. Hit export, watch it encode, get the file.

  • MP4 (H.264) and GIF
Encoded by your browser, downloaded straight to disk.
  • 480p to 4K · 24–60 fps
Standard presets or multiples of your artboard size.
  • Private by default
Your scene and your frames never leave your machine.

Import

Start from your Figma frames.

Send frames to motioner with the Figma plugin and animate them on the timeline — no redrawing.

  • One click from the plugin
Frames land in a new motioner project, ready to animate.
  • Layers arrive editable
Shapes, text, and fills come through as real motioner layers.

  • Animate a layer from a prompt
Position, scale, rotation, opacity — drafted for you, editable after.
  • Beats and storyboards
Coordinate several layers in a time window, or plan the full scene.

FAQ

Fair questions.

01Do I need to install anything?+
No. motioner runs entirely in the browser — sign in with Google and you’re in the editor.
02Where do my videos render?+
In your browser. MP4 is encoded with WebCodecs and GIF with an in-tab encoder — nothing is uploaded to a render server, and the file downloads straight to your machine.
03What can I export?+
MP4 (H.264) and GIF, from 480p up to 4K at 24–60 fps. MP4 needs a WebCodecs-capable browser (Chrome, Edge, Safari 17+); GIF works everywhere. More formats are on the roadmap.
04Can I import designs from Figma?+
Yes — the motioner Figma plugin sends your frames straight into a new project as editable layers.
05What does the AI do?+
It drafts motion from a prompt: an animation for one layer, a coordinated beat across several, or a storyboard for the whole scene. It’s in beta and actively being developed.
06What does it cost?+
Nothing during beta. Paid plans will come later, and beta users get a heads-up before anything changes.
